what is the reason for triple j doing this randomly? are they trying to maintain relevancy? Is it only songs they have played? Its odd. I think triple M did hottest 100 of australian music the first australia day after triple j moved their countdown from it. it seems like something you would do in a dying gasp. i would guess that the people being the microphone and scenes at triple j headquarters have a lot of disdain for half of the acts. i pray for king kers at number 1.

there was an australian youtube channel that critiqued the australian music industry, and triple j in general that had some really interesting insights into triple j and their changes in programming over time. i wish i could find it again.
