reminder that good bands make full albums with all if not most of the tracks worth listening to and zoomers are mad because they can't fathom the idea of an album like that existing because the artists they listen to actually can't make decent full lengths and zooms can't accept the possibility that they just have awful taste in music

ever notice how a child will often just eat the icing off a cake and leave the rest? that's what zooms skipping the "filler" is like. they're so childish.

Uh, that's based.
>NOOO I ONLY WANT THA BESTEST PARWTS!!!
I'm an albumfag, but sincerely, why shouldn't I want an album or song to be the best it can be? Of course don't hammer the same theme or moment into the ground and call it a complete narratively composed song, but why shouldn't as many parts of the song as possible each be the cool part?

no, i mean they only want THE ABSOLUTE BEST. so much so that they reject genuinely good and enjoyable songs because they got their fill from ONLY THE BESTEST. to them, a 4 star song is not worth listening to when they already have some 5 star songs. they are actually missing out on good music.

Most of the albums I listen to are enjoyed thoroughly. I don't think this is a generational thing. I think it depends on attention span, taste, temperament, and whether or not you are interested enough in music beyond pop tunes and background filler to seek music that's not perfect but reliably good.
