Why does Fenriz insist on and talk time and time again about "keeping metal primitive" when his own shit isn't? I mean, compare Darkthrone's newer shit to picrel; it's simply nothing like it.

Gylve and Ted run on the fumes of their past fame.

And I don't mean "extremity"- or "brutality"-wise; just the sound of the instruments themselves. He doesn't produce his records the way he wishes metal sounded.

Are you retarded? Infester are technical and dynamic as shit. Fenriz just wants metal that has a couple of riffs a song and a steady beat, keeping it simple.
>>127179042 You don't really deserve a reply, but INFESTER is primitive AF dm, the kind Fenriz wished to make on DT's debut. It's not about "technicality" (which isn't the goal; the drumming is proficient and consistent but 100% base, organic, and soulful); it's about the SOUND he's always yapping about. The drum sound on "To the Depths" should be what he should be striving for.
