Dungeon synth is meant to be recorded on cassettes, both Kirkwood and Mortiis recorded their first albums on casette for a reason. If you can't understand why and think that it is a "larp" then you don't understand the art.

Not sure what you have against bc, but if I had to guess you're referring to the modern ds albums that don't follow the old school ways and are basically made to be background noise (As is sadly the practice of the average modern ds listener)
