We need to remind zoomers that shoegaze is closer to NOISE not just shitty pop indie rock drowned in reverb.
Listening to Souvlaki once and buying a reverb pedal doesn't make your band shoegaze. Stacking fuzzes, delays, and verbs, playing with feedback, fucking with said pedal (you know, gazing at your shoes), and worshiping the likes of Spacemen 3 , MBV, and drone music is the spirit of shoegaze. Zoomergaze sucks so much balls.
