I'd fucking love to know what her personal beliefs were, there's so much ambiguity and contradiction in Sophie's work and the conversations around her on here and elsewhere and goodness knows if she even left any notes. As much as people are hung up on the music we aren't going to get I'm more hung up on what relevance her ideas could have had to other fields if they had been articulated more clearly. I think any truly great artist necessarily comes to embody qualities of reality itself more and more tautologically as they progress.
