What galls me is SOPHIE was a similar spirit and not only got to do less with it, but will eternally not be recognised for what she was because both fans and detractors get hung up on the tranny part when it's clear she didn't even think of the trannyism in the same way as other people who transition, it seemed to be all a form of absurdist creative play for her

Also that blu-ray restoration job they did on the Ziggy concert recently was excellent, I wish more artists would get back into the concert film idea or stuff like the Beatles movies, it has a lot of potential that doesn't get used and it sucks it's all been replaced by shitty smartphone clips of live events
