>>127257403 (OP) This dude has a voice made for '80s soft cock rock shlock and Iommi was so full of coke he thought getting this impotent sack of '80s AOR dick cheese to front his dying band would rejuvenate his career. Never try coke, kiddies!
>>127257418 never understood why people blindly defend this era. its like when people say Acid Bath is average or Alexi Laiho is lame. its like you spat in their grandmother's face. why is every opinion I have in music like slaughtering a sacred cow for some reason?

>>127257598 probably because he has about as much charisma as a tuna sandwich
Martin's interesting in that the perception of him is very different in Europe and America. In Europe, while he's not seen as a top-tier legend like Halford or Paul Rodgers by any means, he's well respected and generally considered one of the better hard rock/metal singers that England produced in the 80s - he still gets lots of work and is a regular on the European festival circuit. In America he's virtually unknown and the few that do know him just see him as that throwaway singer Sabbath had that wasn't Ozzy or Dio.
>>127258204 I agree, songs are tighter and punchier, it felt like it was going back to being Sabbath songwriting wise, shouldn't have interrupted the momentum with the DIo stunt. Toni Martin albums are ruined by production.

>>127257403 (OP) It's a shame Sabbath turned into a gay hair metal band in the 80's. They really should've changed the name because it has nothing to do with Sabbath.
>>127257403 (OP) This is the kind of music I expect fat old women who wear t shirts with native americans on them to listen to. I imagine they bought it on tape from a car boot sale.
>>127257462 Retard. Nothing about Tony Martin era Sabbath is soft rock or AOR. Tony Iommi wrote his greatest riffs during that time. >>127257610 >>127257920 You're tone deaf. >>127259389 Such an amazing song. Incredibly vocals and a riff most guitarists would kill to have come up with.
