I am looking for Alternative and Shoegaze music influenced by Garage Rock like the Stooges.

People define Spacemen 3 as proto-shoegaze and Stooges worship but really they don't sound like either. They like playing two chords over and over really loud but it sounds like it's own thing.

I always associate Dirt and Shut Down. What are some other songs with this vibe?

The Stooges weren't really garage. They started as hip older guys doing freeform noise, not high schoolers in a mid sized US city who got a fuzz box last week. Know what I mean?

Stooges established musical history there but that stuff is just sperging out with the tech of the time, no clear emotional line of energy or sentiment it's following, no spirituality.

If they could utilize all that while ticking the above box it would be the "continuation of Dirt" or whatever but it is in fact just dirt instead.
