I'd rather listen to most of Madonna's other '83 to '05 albums than Ray of Light. It's pretty good but True Blue, Bedtime Stories, Music etc. are all more consistent.

My introduction to Madonna was Celebration, her greatest hits album from 2009. If I had to own only one of her albums, it'd be Celebration. It's probably her most satisfying album because it contains all of her best work. Madonna is more of a singles artist than an album artist.
