Seems to me there are more punks that have no problem with metal than metalheads that have no problem with punk interestingly enough. Especially taking extreme ends of the genre spectrums into account.

Everything we listen to is some kind of post-punk overlap where styles have blended so much.

Expressing anger with guitars and denying older music convention makes a ton of stuff we like "post-punk", since that can mean a specific sound or it can just mean the entire fallout of punk's demise. Which is... virtually everything.
