it's a great pop/hard rock album with catchy melodies and riffs
you're just a tasteless metal-only NPC who need loud distortion to pierce his thick skull

no actually I hate metal and autistic metal lords a lot. I only like Sabbath, my favorite band, but this album is BAD. Technical Ecstasy is fantastic tho in my opinion.

NSD cover is the two members of the German electronic band (and Sabbath's Vertigo label mates) Warning.

Because it says Black Sabbath. People will pretend to like any album that says Black Sabbath.

I don't understand how people hate that song, Iommi goes through like 11 riffs and Ozzy finds a ctachy vocal hook for all of them
that song alone is better than anything on Tech Eck, let alone the title track, Johnny Blade and Junior's Eyes and Air Dance

>hear album is bad so decide to listen with open mind
>listen out for good or redeeming qualities so that's all you hear
>fresh listen so it'll be interesting and engaging at least
>come to conclusion that's it's not THAT bad and maybe you feel good for thinking you've discovered something underrated
that's just how it goes when defending hated albums but in reality they're every bit as shit as people have always said they are

Actually it's a good album.
Sure, it may be the worst of the 70s Ozzy era albums, but it really is good, especially the first two songs, and this is coming from somebody who really only likes te first four albums.
And, yes, Technical Ecstasy is much better than Never Say Die, but it's still worth a listen.

I like how Ozzy's final song is about handing the reins over and then it transitions into songs done by the rest of the band without him. Don't think it was intentional but I pretend it was.
A full album of just the 3-piece doing jazzy rock stuff with Bill on vocals would've been kino, I really like his voice
