It is mediocre, and Rubin's soulless production and brickwalling hinders it, but I still wish we would have gotten at least another couple of records, preferably with Bill Ward back behind the kit instead of the drummer from rap-rock's favorite homos, Rage for the Machine.

You can thank Sharon for Vinny Appice or Bobby Rondinelli not being on this one

God Is Dead
Methademic
Naivete In Black
Dear Father
Isolated Man
Season Of The Dead

had this been the album I think it would've been decent, but only better than Technical Ecstasy
but yeah, that's Rick Rubin for you

the couch tzar, aka rick rubin, just locked them in a room and played them their first record, telling them that this was what they had to go back to. the end result is basically a glorified covers record.

Tony is the best producer for Sabbath, I don't know why he got duped into listening to these shitters (it was Sharon)

It took Ozzy being off his pain meds and dying for her to make some semblence of peace (even though I doubt the peace will be permanent knowing her) with Bill Ward, Billy Corgan and Jake E. Lee. But that was it. Those are the only three she allowed into BTTB.

Rodger Bain was great for the first three. But I guess they outgrew him and he outgrew them.
Those first three was the cocaine-free innocence.
Cocaine, Alcohol and Sharon were the three worst influences on Ozzys life.

I don't like Ozzy's or Dio's vocals on 13 and TDYK. They were tolerable live at the time too so idk what the deal was
