Something wrong with the website, covers I’ve actually manually uploaded to last.fm are no longer generating. It also no longer shows an artist full or most of their discography, limiting results.

Sorry anon, nice tunes though

thing is, im not really a punk. i happen to like the musical shit they had going on, but i don't really have the fashion.

on fear, they're a surprisingly interesting band in that they essentially invented math rock (in a shellac-esque form rather than that melodic bullshit) with most of their less popular songs. camarillo, null detector, hey and i am a doctor all prominently feature odd time signatures and use them in a more punk context, similar to some early math rock (victim's family, ruins, the previously mentioned shellac).
they also have some genuinely cool live performances that don't consist solely of the band trolling and fucking around. songs like we gotta get out of this place, what are friends for, more beer, waiting for the meat, and those previously mentioned proto-math rock songs are amazing on the kpfk live record.

Reality Breakdown and Teen Love are incredible 10/10 songs but otherwise No Trend kind of sucks too. Listen to Paganicons by Saccharine Trust, especially A Human Certainty. Actually I take it back I just looked at your chart again and it's mostly mid but not really getting into aids territory.

I know that "phonk" is essentially a slur these days, but... early Phonk really did a lot to expand on that Memphis sound. Check out Evil Wayz (more focused on Memphis rap) or Positive Squad Vol. 1 (more broad, i consider it to be better).

The Amlux remix album "Ikebana" is really fun and just barely missed my list. Parts of it are trash (it's a collection of remixes by like 20 acts), but others are very clever.
