The only thing you can be pretentious about today is listening to some drugged up guy on stims and psychedelics making loud shitty noises of a momentary spams filled with confusion and rage over a bad trip at maximum volume running through some shitty 10 dollar speaker and pretend you like it, I think.

I only say this because today music seems to reach the right people through algorithms and social media and nobodies can sperg out over music anymore without being laughed at.

Cringe might be dead because we are so self absorbed, we just happen to belong to a fanbase or not and not think too much about that.
