I did, it was on a label with some eyes on it, I did not take it seriously, and nothing happened from it, which will be your best case scenario if you actually achieve your dream (it was not a dream of mine and I didn’t really care one way or the other)

Glad to see I'm not alone. What's the longest track you've ever made? I made one that was 2:30 minutes when I was 17 and have never managed to make anything beyond a minute since.

I've made "songs", ideas that were fleshed out and managed to have a conventional structure. An intro, a verse, a chorus, maybe a pre chorus, but I don't consider myself a paul mccartney or anything.
Longest track might've been around the 3 minute and 15 second mark. I don't have the time or the chops to consistently write song after song, you know? I don't want it to be formulaic and writing takes a piece of you

Im out on disability with cancer. I might actually release it now if I get discharged home and get access to my guitar in the next weeks. Kept making excuses from work, other hobbies, goals. That's gone now. Time for music?

During Covid, I wanted to see if I could write some songs since I had been playing guitar, bass and acoustic for about 8 years at that point. I wanted to put a small demo together and it turned into 80 something songs across 4 "albums" I wanted to properly record some of the somgs I made but I've been working a full time job for the past 2 years and I don't have the drive to do that like I used to when I was unemployed. I also wanted to find a vocal coach because I can't sing well and I want to put an acoustic album together.
