how do i get started learning drums? sets are so expensive and i'm in my 30s so i don't have an easy in through school music programs
Arguably Smashing Pumpkins. Just listen to the early shit Corgan was spewing out before he hired a proper rock drummer. And the garbage he has released during the various times that Jimmy Chamberlain wasn't in the band.
I like a LOT of bands with shitty guitar players and bassists and vocalists

You can pretty much play any nonsense on a guitar over a solid rhythm section and it will sound alright. Look at the whole genre of post punk. Drummers and bassists are criminally underrated.
