The Used was ahead of MCR in 2002-2003, but after their 1st album, they fell off, just as MCR reached their peak, from 2004/Revenge onwards, the Used had no chance, and were completely mogged by MCR, had they released an album as good as their debut, they could have almost kept up with MCR, gradually falling behind, until 2006, but even then, once TBP came out, they'd get easily surpassed, but at least would have remained more relevant.
