So now that Jane Morgan died I believe these two are the oldest living girl singers. Admittedly two rather minor figures and not among the giants of the 50s (and with Carson I do mean minor, as in bush league).

Elisabeth Waldo was mostly a violinist and arranger, but she also did vocals on some of her songs, as heard here:

She certainly wasn't a traditional crooner, though. But she had formal vocal training, so she wasn't a novice, either.
