I really miss how American pop and rap songs used to have the arabic sounding instrumentals in music.
For example the pussycat dolls buttons song,
Britney Spears toxic / breath on me
Jay Z - Big Pimpin ( He's using an arabic sample from another song, but it sounds so good, it's really the GOAT)
Beyonce - Baby Boy, Drunk in love & Beautiful Liar

I wonder why did the music producers stopped making songs with this sound? It was very popular in the 2000s.

i know this is the second time you made this thread but i'll entertain the idea if you're being serious
it's weird but it was a really shortlived thing, toxic is probably the big example but some of the other ones you listed were just scott storch's weird obsession with arabic sounding instrumentals. candy shop is what i immediately think of

things change so quick in pop it's nasty. pop songs from the late 10s already sound dated

This is my first time posting in this sub so idk what you're talking about.
That's based though if someone had a similar take.

Songs from the 2010s suck ass in comparison to everything that was produced from the late 90s to like 2008.
Britney's Blackout Album still sounds modern and it's close to 20 years old now.

Arabic instruments have a cool sound to them. You can go back to Brian Jones playing the Sitar on Paint It Black

I miss my neighbors bastard dog howling.

It sounded very middle eastern. Surely it sounded like somebody's home. Lots of empathy for that bastard dog. Respect.
