None of these are really considered classics. Attacker, Battleaxe and Hallows Eve were all pretty typical fare for the 80s thrash scene and had a few hits here and there but none of them ever really took off in a big way. Obviously everyone knows Pantera but most of their earlier output is considered total garbage.

I'm assuming the meme is just supposed to contrast the fact that Sleep Token are quite stylish and theatrical with the fact that all the pictured album covers are super lame.

Why is it that digital artists can't replicate the airbrush look? I knew this wasn't classic 80s metal as soon as I saw it because the airbrushing looks fake.

What explains the phenomenon where people become fans of something that is already popular, then they turn and feel persecuted whenever someone else doesn't like it? You see this over and over and over any time some new pop-metal artist materializes, and genre neophytes go around seeking validation.
