I've never heard of them before today.
That picture gives me Interpol vibes, anything similar?
I just found Interpol the other day haha, but I like them because they sound like The Killers, obviously they're earlier but it's no accident they do, either

This is a tough one because I don't want to give away one of my favourite albums, but I do have an example where not only is every song better than the recorded versions but where it's also their best album and one of the best albums in the genre. I'll think about it.
Great album but I don't know if I agree. For sure at least I prefer EP version of Rollercoaster over this one. The version of Suicide here might be their best song. Spacemen's discography is full of different versions of the same songs that are all good in their own way. Perfect Prescription is held up as their definitive album but I prefer almost every song on it in a version on a different release. Anyways, this album has 2 nyaaaaooooommmmmms so it's certainly a standout.

Nothing to do with interpol really. Their best stuff is sorta psychedelic-garage-drone rock with varying amounts of influence from gospel and blues rock... good stuff man. Sound of Confusion, Taking Drugs to Make Music to Take Drugs To, and Live at the New Morning are their best records.
