The most you'll probably see is libertarian. A lot of old punks were just that and were true indie. Their whole thing was DIY. i.e. Down to cutting their records. Like the Misfits or something like that.

Define creativity. Music for thousands of years was about carrying on tradition too. Like the local country wedding and festive song played by peasants in the medieval era. All church or ritual or holiday tunes, whatever religion.
Music doesn't only revolve around some recent context of the 20th/21st century, centered on some individual Westerner.

I think it's just the nature of the job. A lot of musicians/artsy types tend to be hippie-adjacent, anti establishment, or just generally into that "fight the system" mindset. I'm a bit more on the right (not racist or anything, just not into open borders and mass migration), and I still love The Smiths. Yeah, I know Marr and even Moz would probably hate a meat eating, conservative fan like me, but whatever. Changing your political views because your favorite band disagrees with you is fucking retarded.
