I frequent several well known bike forums, and tandems are always on show, with lots of pictures and tales of adventures they seem to be very popular. However, personally I hate the idea of them, and what's more I have NEVER seen a tandem out in the wild. Despite being a regular rider who is always out on my bike, on many ppular cycling routes in the UK and the EU.

I think retards buy them but never use them.

Bow that's weird. I see tandems out in the wild all the time. Idk, maybe around 5 per year or so and maybe im missing some. Oftentimes its a couple, sometimes a guy alone, sometimes a team trying to go fast and they do.

If they're not standing on pegs, you end up looking like dudes who are into getting pegs.
