>>2036161 (OP)Honestly for a lot of people it's something they're born with/develop during early childhood. That being said I wasn't much into other modes of transport as intensely as I have been with trains (buses were also something I've liked early on mind you).. But the more I learnt about cars, trucks, tanks, planes, helicopters, boats, ships etc the more my interest has grown. I still won't say I know a GREAT amount about half those types of vehicles but the more you learn about something the more your interest might develop. You can't force it or rush it though, if there's a particular aspect you feel ignorant about just take the time to dive more into it and then your interest might gain traction (pun-intended). Just yeah don't force anything, just take the time to watch some videos, learn about a particular class of train or something and see if any of it makes you tick
