Dual rotors are susceptible to this under certain conditions regardless right? E.G. If the pilot changes pitch too fast, or there's a failure in the mechanism that stops it from teeter-tottering.

I can understand it, you're a father and you want your children to have experiences. But look at the world around you. You are a man in your 40s, you have lived long enough to realize the world is an utterly shitty place filled with vicious morons. And you put your family in the hands of some scumbag helicopter tour company. All so they can get an aerial view of the stinking shitheap that is jew york city. It's so fucking brutal.

Personal floatation devices

Considering the flights are mainly over water, if the helicopter had to auto-rotate, it'd likely be into the river.

These would let them float once they are out of the vehicle.

Couldn't they put like wings as a backup that the copter could deploy in the emergency and maybe glide to a landing?

Aeroplanes have fixed wings and the spinny thing is a rotary wing, both types of aircraft need to have the the appropriate number of wings in order to achieve or maintain flight.
If your wing number is reduced by one then you're all going to die.
That's the rules.
