Why are these so hard to understand?

Why are the controls on the back half of my goddamn brakes? Brakes should just be brakes.

Why is there a setting for my pedaling to get even harder? Who wants this. Why isn’t there a little spinny dial like when I was a kid on a bike, it should just say 1 2 3 4 5 6 and then I’d know, higher numbers for hills low numbers for normal.

But wtf is this? Why 30 different gears? Why does the left work for the front and right for back, but you can’t swap them both at the same time? I watched like 4 youtube videos and still don’t get it.

Just adjust the gears to your cadence anon. No need for any indicator.

Most humans are leglettes so they need torque multipliers

Low at front for climb. Big number for speed. Applies to both front and rear. You can change front and rear gears at the same time but it may not feel as smpoth as just front or rear at a time. If you want to pedal backwards a fixed hear will work but you then can't coast(continue moving when the pedaling stops)
