Their excuse was that 787s are mostly carbon fiber, so as a result they made their new livery for the entire fleet gray and boring. They should have at least kept the stripes, or the AA logo.

For the most part seems like they fly the subsidized routes to nowhere towns. Flew the MSP-TVF route, about a 45 minute flight with five other people on a thirty-odd seat aircraft. They're semi-famous for their surprisingly generous complementary snack basket, you get to grab whatever you want.
