What was worse

1. Scott's edgelord "street drugs slang" branding,
or
2. ENVE's edgelord "4chan incel slang" branding

Objectively I like the products of both of these companies but I can't imagine how this could improve sales

It's the way it goes these days. Brand marketing in the 80's and 90's was just as cringe inducing, just in a different way. I used to like stuff from both those brand when I was into MTB stuff, now I'm only and only lust after boring all road steel touring rigs.

Why would you read some random slanteyes' opinions on bicycles? None of them have any accomplishments in any cycling disciplines whatsoever.

>Mogging (a verbification and apheresis of the acronym AMOG for alpha male of the group) is the act of dominating another person. A person who mogs others is called a mogger. A person who gets mogged is a moggee or mog-victim.
>The term originated in the PUA community, who commonly advocated mogging other men as an effective tactic to attract women. It is typically used to describe a man (though the term is often incorrectly used in a gender-neutral fashion) who is more sexually attractive overall than another person. Especially when this higher sexual attractiveness threatens the mog victim's chance of becoming a reproductive success or related self-confidence
tl;dr it's incel slang though it didn't strictly originate on 4chan

Bike advertainment YouTube has been pushing "forward saddle" memes hard of late, it's the >current thing in the tiresome annual "this TDF pro did a thing to his bike you won't believe what happened next" clickbait GCN videos

Supposedly something to do with climbing or power or blah blah only applies if you have the latest meme cranks (165 or less)
