Joji Obara (織原 城二, Obara Jōji), born Kim Sung-jong (Korean: 김성종; hanja: 金聖鐘)[1] (born on 10 August 1952)[2] is a Korean-Japanese serial rapist who raped between 150 and 400 women between 1992 and 2000. He had a predilection for white women. Obara was charged with drugging, raping and killing an English woman, Lucie Blackman; the rape and manslaughter of an Australian woman, Carita Ridgway; and the rape of eight other women.[1][3]

The Chijon Family (Korean: 지존파), also known as the Jijon Family, was a South Korean gang active between 1993 and 1994. The gang was founded by Kim Gi-hwan, a former convict, along with six other former prisoners and unemployed workers who shared his grudge against the wealthy.

Despite receiving the money, the gang forced Lee Jeong-su to shoot So and Park in the head with an air gun. They then ate parts of the bodies, including forcing Lee Jeong-su to consume the liver. To mask the smell of the incineration, the gang had a barbecue in front of the facility and even offered the pork barbecue to local villagers. One gang member later confessed to dismembering the victims and eating their flesh, claiming it was to boost his courage and renounce his humanity.[3]

25-year-old Hanmin Choi was charged for putting a camera in the women's bathroom at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea while she was undressing. The incident happened on Friday and his bail is at $100,000.

HONOLULU (Island News) -- Honolulu police arrested 25-year old Hanmin Choi for recording a woman undress in a bathroom at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea.

Choi was charged with violation of privacy after police said he put a camera in the women's bathroom stall to record a woman while she was undressed.

The incident happened on Friday, Oct. 4, 2024 in the Nuuanu area. Someone who works there found a black box that had a tiny hole. Inside it was Choi's cell phone actively recording one of their coworkers.

His bail is set at $100,000.
