A day after asking his followers on X whether a new U.S. political party should be created, Elon Musk said on Saturday that the "America Party is formed."
"By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it!" he said in a post on X.
"Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom."

The announcement from Musk comes after President Donald Trump signed a tax-cut and spending bill into law on Friday, which the billionaire chief executive officer of Tesla fiercely opposed.
Musk spent hundreds of millions on Trump's re-election and led the Department of Government Efficiency under the Trump administration aimed at slashing government spending, but the two have since fallen out over disagreements about the bill.

Trump earlier this week threatened to cut off the billions of dollars in subsidies that Musk's companies receive from the federal government.
Musk said previously that he would start a new political party and spend money to unseat lawmakers who supported the bill.

Republicans have expressed concern that Musk's on-again, off-again feud with Trump could hurt their chances to protect their majority in the 2026 midterm congressional elections.

None. Sounds like his plan is to get a handful of House and Senate seats, enough to swing the vote towards either side. So the Dems and Repubs still decide what's what, just this way Elon gets to decide which what.
Can't you feel the freedom from our cruel, oppressive two-party system flowing through you?

Dumb plan. The two party system is entrenched. He'd see more success creating a pet wing of the Republican party through primaries. Nobody's gonna vote for Elon's party in generals except disaffected Rs and he has no hope of getting enough of them to win a general anywhere.

Elongated Muskrat's Murrican't Farty = Nigel FaRAGE's (Un)Reform(ed).
And as the latter have lost another MP thus it's all unreforming for FaRAGE with he trying to undo the Conservatives since what happened to them this time last year, The autistic South African's attempts at a Republican-splitting party will equally fail.
Starmer's 400+ seat majority, the GOP so solidly within the electoral landscape it'll be impossible for either to be removed by these political pipsqueaks.
At least Nigey can dream about being PM, it's more than impossible for you to be POTUS, Elol the foreigner. And that's why you'll fail. FaRAGE already has.

I wish him best of luck. Elon will either split the Republican vote or usurp it completely. Either way, he'll become poorer for doing so and the MAGA wing will no longer be so ascendant in US politics. If the Democrats can learn a thing or two from Mamdani, and with the lingering anger over the budget, they might get the House and the Senate.

The NY election means nothing. Everyone running was straight garbage. We need to see what actually happens with the state after this. It will either become an even bigger dumpster fire or it will show the rest of the country that those policies can in fact work when someone that isn't AOC levels of retarded tries to implement them

I thought the only member of the US green party is Ralph Nader, if the dude is still around.
"3. Party" also sounds funny, USA actually somehow has only "1.5" political parties so far. And in best case only ONE party more than Countries like North Korea or China. If you think about that also only one party rules alone, the similarities are much closer.
USA needs more political parties with power, coalition, more opposition like in modern democratic Countries to prevent one weirdo decides alone what happens. Time to reform that old dusty system and bring it in the 21. Century. I wonder why that didn't happen ages ago.

>populism
>working class hates you
>rich people hate you
>most people have a negative view of Tesla or don't care about it at all

What's he offering? He is a big union buster and imports thousands of indians to undercut american engineers and wastes taxpayer money on vanity projects

https://h1bgrader.com/h1b-sponsors/tesla-inc-op0l16qz2l/salaries/2025 < h1b visa salary checker since this info is public you can see the rates range from 60-80% of their american born counterparts in other companies

He also immediately fired over 2600 employees as soon as his 2600> h1bs got accepted AFTER receiving a tax grant for moving to texas. So american taxpayers ended up paying for this, LOL

If he's not helping the little guy and he's not really liked by the big guy, that just leaves a bunch of disconnected or well off enough middle class voters between the ages of like, 25 and 45. That's not a lot of people.

This is a front for Peter Thiel’s web-based “nations”. The plan is to dissolve countries based on physical proximity and form clubs/guilds of people who connect based on values/interests through social media. Trump is in on it. Recently he gave Thiel’s cyber security firm “Palantir” (named after the evil orb that controls Saruman in LOTR) access to all compiled federal databases on US citizens and their information.

Also worth note, Musk’s parents wanted to form science-based technocracy government before they ever moved to South Africa to join in on apartheid. They were publicly involved when they lived in Canada. This is the culmination of a plan almost a century old.

That Dark Maga exposè was really eye-opening/prophetic. This is all theater and Trump already sold us to Silicone Valley.

You need to compare salaries at Tesla for non h1b for the comparison to mean anything
Also, I don't even see any comparison on that page for "their american born counterparts in other companies"

Voting for a third party is voting so they reach the threshold of federal funding. It's how the two party system is broken and it doesn't matter what the fuck the third party platform is it only matters they reach the minimum for federal funding in future election cycles. You idiots not understanding this is a bigger travesty then trump's upcoming fourth term.
