1. Stubbornness + marketing on Porsche's part
2. Billions of dollars of research allows them to mitigate its inherent flaws through clever engineering, weight management, and suspension
3. There isn't much of a difference if the tires never lose traction. If you do lose traction in a RR car, then you die (like Paul Walker)

This, you put the engine in the back and it becomes some freak abomination. You miss the entire point of having a good engine, you wanna see the shit, touch it's, have access to it. When it's moved to the rear it becomes some untouchable mystery bullshit with cooling issues. Not to mention the body ends up looking retarded..

Also modern porsche either have 4wd (like the Skyline GTR) or a shit load of electronic driving aids.
The GTE race car had its engine moved forward to make it MR.

Modern 911s are governed by so many computers you couldn't be further from the truth. Weight distribution on 991 cars is 42/58, the tires are staggered to create a lot of understeer so unless you're on cold tires with TC off it's not easy to get yourself in trouble.

Nigga what, if these cars had a squared tire setup your ass would be off in a ditch, if you want shitty snap oversteer at the limit then go drive a S2000 or RX7, you're exaggerating about "eternal understeer" (whatever the fuck that means).
