I think the FD is the best-looking car of all time but I dislike rotaries.
I'd get a Skyline GTS-t Type-M because it's the drifting version with less power than the "halo" GT-R.

Skyline GTR R34 V-Spec II. No, I don't care its slow, rusty, unreliable, and fat. I wish it wasn't $120-200k. Its a genuinely beautiful car and I had a Bayside Blue GTR as my wallpaper in middle school several times. It has classic body lines and its as recognizable as a 68-70 Charger or 67-69 Camaro.

Most realistic is GC STi Wagons. I still think I should just buy that ver5 STi Sedan in Tampa for $18k if it didn't sell. GCs are one of those cars everyone loves when they drive one, Subaru got it "right" and everything else felt heavier and slower/more isolated after. I mean it was good enough for equinox.

NSX does nothing to do me. If I had to choose it'd be Supra and do a AutoX/Track build like the Ridox car. Modern single turbo EFR setup or stock twins with upgraded wheels. FD is too needy for me.

I owned a CT9A for 7 years and drove a CP9A. Awesome cars, but I want to try something different. Evo steering feel is unmatched. CP9A (V) is peak Evo because it feels smaller and nimbler than the CT9A (IX).

C4 ZR1 if you like numbers, NSX if you like driving. The feel of everything 20 years ahead in the NSX and the visibility from inside is unmatched. The ZR1 will absolutely scoot away though. From a roll I wouldn't be surprised if the NSX was quicker though. The only reason it doesn't match the zr-1 0-60 is because the beginning of first is without vtec can't compete with the low end of an NA V8.

Is it really sour grapes to point out the collector value of these cars makes them less exciting for enthusiasts looking for a performance car decades newer?

People don't say that when you say buying a million dollar dusenberg is retarded when you could get a SF90 yet whenever something more recent gets brought up its always a sour grapes strawman.

My dream car in the $50k range is dramatically different than the $1.5million price range and if that $50k car became a $1.5 million dollar car it wouldn't be sour grapes to say I didn't want it compared to the equivalently priced options.

lmao. You know its kind of depressing that companies like honda were able to corner the market on sports cars and sport compacts while gm could have made amazing midship sports cars in the meantime using a supercharged buick 3800 motor, but instead focused on pumping out cuv's made for moms and the chinese market. Can you imagine how great a mid engine pontiac solstice would have been if they didn't cheap out and ruin the fiero's reputation decades before? Somehow the richest companies in the world can't seem to give a fuck about their customers, and yet we have people like you who still lap up their semen after every release

>Which 90's JDM halo car is your favorite?
The Toyota TRD Comfort GT-Z Supercharger. My favorite halo car, and non halo car at the same time.
'90s JDM sedans in general are among some of my favorite vehicles, I never really cared for the popular sports cars. To give one "standard" answer, however, the R33 Skyline GT-R. I prefer it's looks to the R32 and R34.
