none, they are ridiculously expensive even here in sweden and chinese operated
Anonymous No.28447419 [Report]
Why would you get a Volvo? The P2s are heavy, have dogshit suspensions, and their safety hasn't kept up with modern cars. Finding OEM parts are also extremely expensive. Haven't touched any of the chink ones though.

My favourite too. I'm from scandinavia, and I've only ever seen one. Was about fifteen years ago at a gas station. Tried to talk to the guy, but he was like 80 and not very chatty. Was in blue pearl and beige interior. Looked like it just rolled of the production line, it was so immaculate.

I always thought the chrome trim around the grille made it look especially fish-mouthed. The loud grille on this mod helps distract slightly.
I wonder if painting it into a racing livery like picrel would help the front end.

The P1800 fills me with such erection I can't evne put it into words, and I don't even know why because like the other anon said it is a little ugly with that fish mouth. But the rest of it, oh man.

I've been in two crashes inside volvos, first was a 240 sedan, hit a reindeer going ~70km/h
second was a 740 station wagon, flipped 2.5 times into a ditch to avoid a head on collision with a car the lost control on ice and slid into the opposing lane also around 70km/h

survived both accidents without a single scratch

I went with the middle ground and got a late '97 S90 manual. Unicorn find since most were autotragics like the 780 but at least it always came with the 3.0 whiteblock, instead of a diesel or PRV v6 780's with manuals regularly got. Same M90L2 you'd find in a late 940.
3.0 was detuned from the factory with camshafts from the earlier 2.5 6cyl, no other differences so that was easy to switch out.
For the rear spring I put in a new wagon spring, picrel. Subframe was a bitch to take apart though. Rear diff was open so I put in the tenaci torsen. New bushings all around and adjustable shocks do plenty to make it handle well despite the still soft-ish springs and swaybars. S/V90's got the sports swaybars from the earlier 960 standard just like the 940's did with the '97 my, but all those do is give the car 80's german sedan bodyroll instead of american landyacht bodyroll.

Good taste. I got a late Amazon 122s with a B20B, have the 123GT/p1800ES spec shocks, lowered springs and wide steelies on it.

I loved my '04 S80 but it was so clapped that I had to junk it. If I could find one that was better taken care of I'd snatch it up. Loved whipping that thing around corners.
