I agree with every single one of these. ATVs are best for people either using them as utility, where you need big tires and 4x4 to churn through muck innawoods. Dirt bikes are gonna be so much more fun everywhere else. Slight honorable mention to snowmobiles in areas that actually get to use them.

There are great if you have a ton of money to burn and the space for a whole trailer setup, and specifically want to do oval. Karts are the better buy for working man's road racing with both left and right turns.

Working man's four wheel racing is one of a couple varieties: shitboxes like Lemons, something that's running on a dirt oval, or karts. Kart tracks are more easily found due to their smaller required footprint.

First of all an ATV uses a solid single rod on two wheels so even at a slight uneven surface the ATV will fight over your control if it doesn't slide in every turn. To people that have no idea, an ATV is not a Quad; which is the real 4x4 seen driven by boomers. If you did ride one it was mostly on a track. If you did ride on on the trails without issue than you are mostly full of shit for holding up all the MXers trying to pass you at the park.

atv is a catchall class you mongoloid, encompassing dirtbikes, 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers and side by sides, as well as whatever other vehicle you can build or think up that can drive on anything.

Secondly, lots of quads have independent rear suspension, only the cheaper ones use a solid rear axle.

What a fucking retard. You're saying that anybody that gets out of second gear has a high probability of killing themselves. And yet only about 1,000 deaths occurred on 3 wheelers between 82 (introduced) and 88 (banned). That number is insignificant and would be attributed to a rounding error by any statistical formula considering that they were used MILLIONS of times per year.
I was riding >>28450962 this shit before you were born. You've probably never even touched one. I question if you've touched an ATV or bike of ANY type.

ATVs accounted for more than two-thirds of the deaths. Nearly 300 deaths were among children under the age of 16.
>victims of ATV crashes were 50 percent more likely to die of their injuries than similarly injured victims of off-road motorcycle crashes. >The odds of mortality remained 1.51-fold higher (95% confidence interval 1.03 to 2.20) with all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) after adjustment for gender, age, race, geographic region, insurance status, injury severity score, severe head or extremity injury, Glasgow Coma Scale motor score, presence of shock on admission, and helmet use.
>With ATVs, the likelihood of ending up in the intensive care unit was 55% higher (adjusted odds ratio 1.55, 95% CI 1.42 to 1.70), while the adjusted chance of an injury that required being put on a ventilator was 1.42-fold higher (95% CI 1.17 to 1.72) compared with off-road motorcycles.
