Anyone knows how safe remetallizers are? I have a 2011 subie that starts to smoke, and when I mentioned this to my neighbour he gave me a couple cans of picrelated. I checked the manufacturers website and it looks impressive on paper, but it was developed by soviets, and tested on Volgas and Ladas. Is it safe for a modern car?

It’s Chernobyl oil, the radioactive isotopes give new energy to make old engine stronk like mule. Apply generously to:

gasoline for increased power
or
crankcase for engine longevity
or
Neck for increased vigor
or
Under arms for sexual prowess.

Russian cars may not have catalytic converters according to I just asked the internet. That product may contain zinc which I have read is detrimental to cats but maybe it would be okay if you follow up with catalytic converter cleaning snake oil. It seems like trimetal bearings in a can which is the point to re-embed particles into discontinuous surfaces. The softer metal would not scratch anything.

Fix your car or you won't have a 2011 Subaru in a year. Shit like this does nothing but exacerbate/create more issues, and I don't mean in the long run.
>but muh neighbor swears by it and he...
Everyone has that neighbor. I have that neighbor. Stop listening to dumbass neighbor wisdom.
Or go full ham with that shit. It's your car, your life and your money.

It'll absolutely kill O2 sensors at the very least.

I tried finding any information/reviews about similar products damaging o2 sensors, and there's nothing at all. Copper is most likely oxidized during combustion and the oxide is not any more reactive than soot. There are mentions of copper grease damage tho, but grease cant be oxidized as effectively

That guy obviously knows something I don’t but I can anecdotally say that copper in oil, head gaskets, EGR valves has not been a problem for me, and I’ve tried.
