I blame the failure on crumbling public schools.
The pump doesnt know if 32psi is in a bicycle tire or a tractor. Its the same amount of force the pump has to overcome.

Little 6gal compressor in my garage is preferable but I do carry a bike pump in the trunk for emergencies and it's seen some use (about 95% of which was for others' tires not my own) but when it takes ~500 pumps to refill four tires from low-but-definitely-not-completely-flat I definitely don't recommend it as a primary air source.

you can leverage your entire weight using it normally. you don't even need that much force anyway since car tire pressure is like a third or less of bike tire pressure. foot pumps suck though for any pumping task.

Got one of these, but it wasn't the greatest as it wouldn't stay on without holding the trigger. Bent up a wire loop around the handle to hold it going. Turns off automatically when it gets to the right pressure anyway.

What kind of poorfag doesn't have an air compressor? I have probably a dozen of them scattered around. 12v, gas powered, 120v, 220v, every kind imaginable.

A 30-70 Oxygen nitrogen mix. You'd be surprised at how well this ratio works.
