ITT: post cars where your heart says yes but your brain says no
In this case i love how it looks and i bet it will ride like a dream but you just know it will be a huge pain to keep on the road.

I could, and I want to, but I never would.

All these shitboxes get utterly raped by Porsche. Remember that.

they're not as bad as everyone says but it's getting harder to find clean ones. make sure you have a decent savings account and a reliable daily though.

I love the 12th gen Eldorado. IMO it was one of the last personal luxury coupes that was shaped like one with the squared off, notchback shape. I don't even care about the FWD since they were FWD even in the '70s, but only being offered with the Northshart, and being discontinued before the "good" years of them (03-04+) pretty much kills it. You can get a '92 or '93 with the 4.9, but those aren't the same, and despite supposedly being more reliable they have seemingly disappeared from existence.
I guess I missed out on them when people could barely give them away, because if I'm paying "collector" prices I'll just go for a '70s land yacht Eldo with the 500ci V8 instead.

I've wanted an E39 M5 for the longest time, but I'm just so tired of working on modern stuff that I can't bring myself to do it. Oh well.

The L322 Range Rovers are actually great. Get one that has been serviced at the right intervals and it'll last you.

Good news, the '71-'74 verts have recently dropped in price, nice ones can be had for 18 grand
'75-'76 verts (and '75-'78 coupes) are still holding, likely because the front end has the more gangster look

anything with the 426 hemi in it...that thing is a race engine first and has different maintenance demands to typical engines

Those are sleek as hell especially for a 90's design. I wonder how many of them have had the head bolt issue fixed at this point, or if anyone ever swapped a later Northstar out of a DTS into one.

E39 M5, GTA and Range Rover Sport were fine examples.
Another piece of forbidden fruit: Audi S4 2006.
Hngh... those Recaro seats.

And the one-owner Lithuanian M6 somewhere around Vilnius.

It's the L320. Funny though as I know why you think that. AI tried to gaslight me and said it shared the designation with the L322 range Rover. Dumb ass wannabe robots.

Wait, what? The sport is a different chassis to the regular RR? I always thought they were just a trim level. "The more you know", I suppose...

Every fibre of my being wants to drive around blasting depeche mode or new model army our of shitty 80s speakers, but finding parts for old mitsubishis are horrible

I honestly don't understand audis. Not judging, just don't get it. It looks like the passat my grandma used to drive but it costs way more and is going to be even more expensive to maintain. Nothing about it appeals to me. At least with bmws they used to look cool, even if they're moneypits. Audis literally just look like a VW
