redpill me on sprinter work trucks. I see them on govdeals and I'm tempted to get one as a towpig for the racecar. I've heard they suck to wrench on though.

Most of the diesels die a hard death about 100k in is what I’ve heard from a friend who maintains a fleet. If you thought def was bad on domestic trucks these are worse.

no they absolutely dont. lesase usually ends at 100k/ 3 to 5 years. you then get them for next to nothing but yeah to might have to do brakes and shiet.. the engines are good ole mb diesels they can do 500k plus.
