I would hope that a V6 wouldn't be too controversial in current year. Most of the grid uses them, and of the few who chose to run V8s, only the Cadillacs are naturally aspirated.

Kek. Ford was involved in talks back when IMSA was forming the basis for DPi 2.0 (later becoming LMDh) all the way back in 2019, but backed out because they didn't want to use the spec hybrid system. Now they caved and arriving 4 years behind everybody else.
