Nobody cares about these ancient boat anchors anymore. Theyre outdated and overpriced and they get mogged hard by small block v8s and b58s.

Drift is a meme anyway. If people are using a 2J it is for le epic Japanese engine Tokyo Drift and not because it is the best option.

Ah yes because we all know drift cars don't actually need engines which reliably produce large amounts of power

No, eventually people are going to make aftermarket blocks. The 2JZ is too strong of a meme to let them go extinct

Yes and an LS is lighter, better balanced, and makes more power with less stress. The parts are cheaper and more available too. Drifter care about style too much to use a truck engine though.

Toyota still produces 2jz blocks. Even nissan's been reproducing rb26's for their restoration program. it's not happening any time soon.

Just like the Jeep 4.0, the Chrysler slant six, and the Ford 300.
Out of production forever.

That's not even remotely true.
You can build a brand new 2JZ from top to bottom.
They sell everything.

Retarded myth
But we are talking about the continuation of manufacturing for JZ parts, turns you can still buy heads new from Toyota so they're noy gunna run out yet.
Plus there is a billet option available.
