Rate my decision.

I had a choice to buy a similarly priced 2023 Toyota Corolla and 2020 Honda Civic but decided to go for the Kia because it was the only one which had wireless android auto and wireless phone charging. Very hands-free.

The Honda Civic had wired Android auto, but when I connected my USB wire into it, the Android auto wouldn't work. Even my car salesman tried connecting his wire into the car, yet he couldn't get the Android Auto to work on his phone either. So, useless for me.

The 2023 Toyota Corolla came with wireless Android auto, both me and the salesman tried connecting our phones with bluetooth, but none of us were successful. So much for muh "Toyota reliability".

I was really hoping that the 2023 Toyota Corolla would work out, but sadly it failed in the most crucial criteria. Meanwhile, the 2022 Kia Forte connected to my phone within seconds, Android Auto and google maps were up and running in less than 10 secs. Plus, I could charge my phone wirelessly!

Why do folks on here keep saying about Hondas and Toyotas being 'reliable' and 'it just works' but when it came to actually delivering, both cars failed spectacularly?

Radio ? No, wireless android auto was my criteria. The first thing I checked was that. I was hoping the Corolla would work out, my dad loves Toyota and wanted me to get a Toyota, but sadly the Android Auto just wouldn't connect.

>shitbox
This is supposed to be a relatively new car, a gift, for my dad. I myself own and drive a used 2008 Nissan Sentra with 265k kilometres on it that I bought for $3600

Ah, so you're stupid. No car has a good wireless phone charger, and smartphone integration in cars is for subhumans.

People who drive Kias are bad drivers who can't insure anything else or brain dead morons who can't do research

Should have got the Civic, which is the only econoshitbox you can actually not feel ashamed to drive.

Besides that, the Toyota and Honda will depreciate a lot less than a Kia will. If you ever trade this car in, you lost thousands of dollars in going with the Kia.
