>TIME TO TEST THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF A CAR, TIME TO NILL TO SIIXTY

No you asshole, literally nobody cares if it's 8 seconds or 8.5 seconds to 60 miles/h. How's the reliability? Can I trust this car not to require bi-weekly maintenance? What's the insurance costs? How does it fare to the actual used market with thousands of potential cars to compete?

Why are car reviewers so bad? They just assume everyone is some multi-millionaire sports enthusiast.

i agree but it's much harder to quantify this stuff or at least make some sort of objective judgement on it.

Yeah literally nobody testing a brand new car can tell you any of this unless it's a long term test car they keep for years. Journalists get a press car for like 1-2 weeks max if not just a few days, you can't make any reliability assessments in that short amount of time. Insurance costs are also highly variable based on conditions that likely will not be the same for you and the journalist anyway, such as area, age, driving history, etc. That's simply something you're going to have to research yourself getting quotes on the cars you're looking at since you and even your neighbor probably won't get the same price quoted.
