>>28465127 (OP)>electrified "mild hybrid">less power than a 20+ year old E-Class AMG>weighs more despite not even having a V8You'd be better off with the older generation. Especially since we're talking quality, basically every model aside from the E63 is now electrified. As someone that owns two MBs already and even the STAR computer to work on them, I don't think I'd want one with even more unnecessary electronics tied into the drivetrain. You can at least drive the car if your infotainment or something goes out, after all (it does on nu-Benzes btw). The newest ones have also gone balls deep and turned into PHEVs - which is even worse for something that's supposed to be a tire smoking, V8 German muscle car.
All of that is completely aside from the fact that every new MB has an interior swathed in gloss black plastic trim, multicolor LED strips and an iPad in the center stack.
>>28465567>has an M256 inline six, not a V6>was released as an E450, sold as that for a few years>rebadged as an actual AMG despite the engine not even being produced with the "one man, one engine" philosophy, >no engine builder plaqueNot a real AMG and not even a V6. If OP wants to save money and doesn't care about not having an AMG badge to flaunt then an E450 offers the same - it just needs a tune to make up for the slight boost in power since they're the same exact engine otherwise. I'd go one further and say just get a previous gen E500/E550 and slap a tune on it if you don't want to go too old. You'll be hanging with AMGs and similar easily.
