It's a decent car.
Unlike >>28466743 or >>28466759, you can find it for relatively cheap because that generation styling is considered pretty ugly.

The (typical for french cars) very light steering and pedals aren't really my thing, but for the money they're pretty good.
You should definitely take a seat in one, older small Renaults tend to have weird ergonomics and depending on your size you may have an awkward seating position. The sports seats are pretty good IIRC
Compared to the Swift you should know the Twingo is noticably smaller, lighter and cheaper (when new). Slightly different segments, Twingo is an A segment City car and the Swift is in B
Both are decent choices from that era of 1600cc hot hatches, certainly better picks than a Citroen C2 or Corsa
