You see OP wanted to make joke about engines making banging sounds like guns, or a joke about how a pile of guns in a bed looks kinda like and engine.... or something... nobody knows, but we know OP wanted to make a joke, so he made a joke where he pretends a truck bed full of guns is the engine bay of a car, and you're supposed to laugh because it's funny.
You see op like making funny jokes that people laugh at, this is a joke that OP made which is funny, which he hopes you will laugh at.

One more point that you may not have considered is that OP is actually an aspiring comedian, and if he should succeed in his dreams he will be able to bring a great deal more joy and laughter into this world which will have a net benefit effect for everyone because society functions better if the people who make up that society have improved mental health. So this is why you should not only laugh at OPs joke, but also enthusiastically encourage him to make more such jokes, so that he may be further encouraged to fulfil his dreams of becoming a comedian, thereby bring about the result of increased mental health in the world and a superior society.
