I want to see more EVs with range extender ICE engines.
Plenty of full ICE cars
Plenty of Full EV cars
Plenty of "hybrids" which are ICE +E
Not many hybrid cars which are EV +ICE
I quite like the gas turbine generator idea for example.

kek, boomer here, in the old days we'd tune our VWs to run really rich and install a spark plug in the exhaust stinger (like pic rel), then hit a button on the dash that turned on the exhaust coil that fed the spark plug, and it would shoot fire.

I'd be a much bigger fan of the Slate if it at least had one as an option. At least we have the Ram Ramcharger.
I'd like to see a fuel cell + battery EV. Because hydrogen filling stations are few and a far between and charging stations everywhere, and it would be nice to use the latter to get to one of the former.
