i dream a lot about falling asleep while driving as i'm trying to fall asleep. the crash jerks me awake and i hate it. i'm not even afraid of being in an accident. i'm just scared of being at fault for basically negligence.

Something bad always ends up happening to my cars in my dreams. Last night one of them was accidentally crushed at a construction site.

On the same note, I remember in my dream it was raining and then i heard a huge thunder sound and then I woke up.
But in real life, it was just the garage door slamming shut.
So how did my brain know to dream about rain/thunderstorms and predict that the garage door would create the sound of thunder?

One day, I guess. The vehicle in the dream is so monstrously fast that it feels like sitting sideways. Probably would need a vehicle that can hit 1.4G on a regular basis to feel the same thing.

I've had some nasty dreams where I've been shot, stabbed, fallen off of buildings, etc., etc., but that was one of the worst I've felt coming out of.

My recurring car nightmare is that its been stolen. Frequently I can see whoever took it driving off in it, but there's never anything I can do. Always nice to wake up and realize my car is fine, though.
