Uppity bogans wanted to get paid top dollar while doing a half assed job with nothing on their mind but the next nights pissup, and no one wanted to buy full size sedands anymore which at that point was the only thing they made

Unions were partly to blame, muh carbon tax cost of production etc weren't much of an issue though, contrary to what the jew backed media kept crying about.
Largest factors were the GM+Ford HQs back in the US. They pulled as much money as they could out of Holden and Ford Aus, charging ridiculous prices for parts supply from the US/Europe, refusing to provide any additional funding while they took all the profits back overseas. Then they expected Aus gov to bail them out like they got bailed out in the US.
Just shitty dinosaur company business practices.
