Jaguar and Aston Martin were at their best under Ford. Volvo and Saab were wastes of money. i guess the Chinese did a good job turning Volvo into a hipster luxury brand. before that, volvo was a shitbox brand and Ford already sold their own shitboxes in Europe, so they did not need volvo.
